| MELOCHE, Marguerite - Jean
(nee: Dallaire) Born June 6 - 1921 With music playing surrounding the
room, and her loving family at her side, she passed away peacefully, July
13, 2007, at the Hospice Village, Windsor. Welcoming her with open arms
into the Kingdom of Heaven, her husband Earl Meloche (1970), her loving
and dearest son Johnny (1977), and grandson Alan Frances (2005). Proud and
loving mother of Ronnie and Pat Meloche, Barb and Rob Frances, Charlotte
and Tom Renaud, Betty and Richard Meharry, Janet and Doug Garant, Cathy
and Harold Dale, Jimmy and Debbie Meloche, Bobby Meloche and Laura, Gerry
and Sharon Meloche, Mary and Jon Serdachny, Julie Langlois and Russ, and a
special place in her heart for Sarah Renaud. Marguerite was so very proud
of her 26 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren and counting.
Marguerite, one of 13 children was predeceased by Elzar, Marie Rose, Lucie,
Mary Rose, Thomas, Louise, Joseph-Andrew, Joseph, John, Paul, and Philip.
She leaves behind sister Theresa Chenier and sisters - in - law, Gladys
Dallaire, Yvonne Dallaire, Margaret McEwen, Helen Bensette, Mildred Poulin,
and brother-in-law Eddy Arsenault. Marguerite touched many lives with her
strong faith and her loving and caring ways. She also had a special place
in her heart for all children. A retired school crossing guard, ABC
Nursery cook, worked in a boys group home, and was a foster parent with
the Catholic Children's Aid Society. A volunteer at Huron Lodge where she
would play music for the residents and occasionally helped in the tuck
shop. She loved being a member of the Thursday morning euchre club at her
parish, Holy Name of Mary. Marguerite's love for her flower garden, won
her a beautification award from the City of Windsor. Visiting at the
WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday July 16, 2007,
from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and
friends are requested to meet Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Holy Name of Mary
Church (711 McEwan) for visiting until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.
Interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy,
donations to Hospice Village or Charity of your Choice would be
